The Champions Foundation is a non-profit organization (501c3).  Our mission is to inspire faith, hope, compassion and education through collaborative partnerships in our community and in the world.

   - Faith Initiatives provide opportunities to inspire growing faith

   - Compassion Initiatives offer help to hurting people everywhere

   - Hope Initiatives strive to deliver hope locally through practical means

- Educational Initiatives promote learning through innovation and partnerships around the world

Here’s a quick overview of some of the ways that the Champions Foundation is working around the region and around the world.

Champions Forever Home / South Africa

The Champions Forever Home in South Africa will be celebrating its 4th birthday this year, thanks to donors who made it possible.  The Forever Home opened in 2007 and is more than a refuge, it is a “forever” home for children who have been orphaned or abandoned due to the AIDS pandemic. We become the family for these children and teens, celebrating birthdays, holidays and milestones with the children, as well as all of the practical needs, medical and surgical care, and ongoing support for staffing and maintenance in the home.  Throughout the year, different teams of people travel to the Forever Home from the US to assist with projects, connect with the kids, and assess current needs and funding.

Emergency Disaster Relief

Our Compassion Initiative, with its Emergency Disaster Relief Fund swings into action whenever there is a need.  The devastating earthquake that hit Haiti at the beginning of the year is an example of how we are able to move swiftly to mobilize people and resources for a cause. Justice Project

The Justice Project is the volunteer arm of all of our HOPE Initiatives. We have been helping people all around the community for more than two decades in a variety of different ways. From feeding the hungry, handing out coats and blankets to the homeless, offering resources for people overcoming addictions, assisting with a wide variety of practical projects in people's homes and yards, and providing hope for the holidays through Operation Blessing, we are actively sharing in our community on an on-going basis.  Read about some of the activities in the Calendar Events section, or in the News Content.

Educational Projects

We also believe that through our Education Initiative we can help change the future.  For example, in Bulgaria, our partnership with American English Academy has helped hundreds of children and teens receive a world class education.  Many of the graduates of the school have gone on to universities and colleges all over the world. In the Philippines, the Wisdom for Life Leadership School is an academy for aspiring students.
